{"id":1974,"date":"2011-06-13T10:47:44","date_gmt":"2011-06-13T14:47:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/analystik.ca\/?p=1974"},"modified":"2017-02-07T14:46:21","modified_gmt":"2017-02-07T19:46:21","slug":"cloud-crm-answer-all-your-questions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/analystik.ca\/blogue\/language\/en\/cloud-crm-answer-all-your-questions\/","title":{"rendered":"Does Cloud CRM systematically answer all your questions \/ needs?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many clients from medium and large enterprises that we meet have migrated their <strong>CRM<\/strong> in the <strong>Cloud<\/strong> or are seriously thinking about it.\u00a0On the other, and as surprising as it may look, we have also met others who have set a Cloud CRM and are on the verge&#8230; of coming down from their cloud!!!\u00a0 In fact, just recently, while attending the <em>CFO Summit<\/em> in the USA, we were quite surprised to find out that many enterprises were not that satisfied with a well-known Cloud CRM solution and are seriously looking to a <strong>tailor-made<\/strong> <strong><em>CRM solution<\/em><\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>This is the story for this post;\u00a0why should you migrate to a Cloud CRM and why should you look into a more traditional, some would say a more, personalized solution?<\/p>\n<h2><!--more-->Pros and Cons of Cloud CRM<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Real-time access to data, \u00ab\u00a0<em>anytime, anywhere<\/em> \u00bb, providing that you have an Internet connexion; this could be an unbeatable competitive advantage for your <strong>Sales Force<\/strong> or <strong>Mobile Workforce<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Very low initial investment and costs proportional to usage (the <strong>SaaS <\/strong>business model)<\/li>\n<li>No update fees nor update deployment<\/li>\n<li>Easiness of installation, usage and update<\/li>\n<li>Well integrated with other web applications web like <strong>Social <\/strong><strong>Media<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The burden of security and backup falls onto the solution provider\u2019 shoulders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Pros and Cons of a Client\/Server Solution<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The solution will be integrated with other systems in place, for example, the accounting system<\/li>\n<li>Depending on the chosen solution, it could be integrated with <strong>Outlook<\/strong>, widely used among enterprises<\/li>\n<li>Important initial investment, but low maintenance and updates costs (no monthly recurrent fees)<\/li>\n<li>Highly specialized functionalities much easily integrated; for example, <strong><em>Business<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Intelligence <\/em><\/strong>or <strong><em>Business<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Rules<\/em><\/strong>; contrary to Cloud generic solutions \u00a0(<em>one-size-fits-all<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Contrary to Cloud solutions, the client is responsible for securing the data but also, he is not depending \/ relying on his solution provider.\u00a0 Are your data really or well protected in the Cloud?
